This error occurs as a result of incorrect rights on the service <em>IIS WAMREG admin<\/em>. This issue is not difficult to solve, but you must correct the registry key and the DCOM object:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">Run <strong>regedit.exe<\/strong> and locate <em>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTAppID{61738644-F196-11D0-9953-00C04FD919C1}<\/em> key<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">Right click on the key and select <strong>Permissions<\/strong> and then <strong>Advanced<\/strong><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/myblog\/elvis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/3\/Slika1.PNG\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">The first thing to do is to give the <strong>ownership<\/strong> to the <em>Administrators group<\/em> in the <strong>Owner tab<\/strong><\/span><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/myblog\/elvis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/3\/Slika2.PNG\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">After this, you have to switch to the <strong>Permissions tab<\/strong> and add to the <em>Administrators group<\/em> full control rights. <span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">DO NOT CHANGE OTHER PERMISSIONS!<\/span><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/myblog\/elvis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/3\/Slika3.PNG\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">Now you have to open the <strong>Component service<\/strong> (dcomcnfg.exe) and navigate to the <em>Console Root &gt; Component services &gt; My Computer &gt; DCOM Config<\/em>. On this location you will find the <em>IIS WAMREG admin<\/em> component. Right click on it and select <strong>Properties<\/strong>.<\/span><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/myblog\/elvis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/3\/Slika4.PNG\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">On the <strong>Security tab<\/strong>, under <em>Launch and Activation Permissions<\/em>,select <strong>Edit<\/strong><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/myblog\/elvis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/3\/Slika5.PNG\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">Here you must enable the <em>Local Activation<\/em> right to the <em>SharePoint Farm Account<\/em><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/myblog\/elvis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/3\/Slika6.PNG\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: medium;\">Close all windows with <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a style=\"text-decoration:none\" href=\"\/index.php?s=imusporin-online-safely\">.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A very common problem in the SBS server is the Error 10016.
